Although I'm a lifelong resident of Washington state, I have spent about 10 years teaching, developing training programs, and managing projects and programs in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and South Korea. I have taught at private schools, public schools, universities, and for the U.S. Special Forces, and worked heavily in linguistics, language training, and instructor development for the majority of my career. My background in developing language learning websites have led me to my current role as program manager for the Microsoft cloud, where I have been since August 2015.
I attended Washington State University, where I got my Bachelors in Communications in 2004, and received my Masters in Education from the University of Queensland in 2008.
I have been PMP-certified since September, 2017, and have been a member of the PMI Olympia Chapter since November 2018. I am also Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
