Ida Jayarani, MBA, PMP, has been Information Technology professional for over 25 years. She has served as EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Manager, Systems Engineer, Senior Software Consultant, On-Site Manager, and Senior Software Engineer with increasing levels of Project Management. She served the State of Indiana for a year and a half in Eligibility Determination sub projects of ICES project. For nearly 17 years, she had been working with WA State in DSHS – ACES project, fulfilling senior and leadership roles on Mainframe and Web Development platforms of the State Welfare System. She was also involved in Eligibility Service Project of the State of Washington Health Benefit Exchange. Ida is a speaker, author, poet, singer, musician, artist, song-writer, mother, philanthropist, and an entrepreneur. She is the Founder & CEO of OASIS4U, a startup IT Company, in the South Sound area, offering contract IT staffing. Ida has held various leadership positions in Toastmasters International, as Vice President of Education, Membership, and Marketing and has won awards and accolades at work place, Toastmasters, and PMI Olympia where she has started serving as Finance Auditor and Newsletter Manager. For the past five years, she has served the PMI Olympia Board of Directors, as the VP – Communications/Marketing managing web projects and creative graphic design & marketing projects, managing sub-committees of special projects for professional development, implementing social media projects, and addressing all queries that enter through our email/website/social media portals. She has been instrumental in bringing in more members, dinner sponsors and Gold sponsors for the chapter.
