image001.jpg Bryce Carlen is the Chief Information Officer for the Washington State  Department of Revenue and is responsible for enterprise information technology and computing systems that support DOR's tax collection activities.  Before joining DOR in 2021, he was the CIO for the Washington State Insurance Commissioner from 2018-2021 and the CIO for the Department of Commerce from 2015-2018. Bryce holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a JD from Seattle University.
Vel-Rajagopal-commerce.jpg Vel Rajagopal is the Chief Information Officer for the Department of Commerce. He is responsible for aligning Information Technology to Business needs and managing the enterprise technology for Commerce. Some of his key focus areas are – maturing Commerce’s IT portfolio to maximize the business value for technology investments, build teams for now-into-the-future, and analytics to help Commerce be successful with Economic Growth in the State of Washington. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Department of licensing from 2015 through mid-2019, and as an Acting CIO for the latter part of 2019. He started as a Consultant with the State of Washington in the year 2000, and has worked in various capacities as a State employee since 2002. He holds a Masters in Computing Systems from the University of Washington, and an Engineering Degree from India.

Greg Fisher is the Chief Information Officer for Department of Corrections since 2021. Greg joined DOC as the IT Service Delivery Manager. His state career includes Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) and also worked for a subsidiary of Boeing for 14 years of his career. Greg attended the MBA Program at Pepperdine University and has a master’s degree from University of Phoenix. He also completed the Washington State Project Management series through SPSCC.

Greg volunteers in various community organizations and enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team. Greg was born and raised in Southern California.
