Presentation Title

Shoot for YOUR Moon!

Summary of Presentation

Landing men on the moon 50 years ago was America’s biggest project management and technology achievement of the 20th century. Terry Schmidt played a colorful role in the bold and risky Saturn-Apollo program that galvanized the nation and required breakthroughs in engineering, technology, and program management. Learn how he earned a coveted internship with NASA, and later became the youngest press member covering the liftoff of Apollo 11, representing a Seattle hippie newspaper.

This lively presentation blends history, technology, spunk, visionary leaders, humor, and project management lessons into a presentation that will inspire you to reflect on your own life journey and how you can land on your OWN moon!
