Presentation:  Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Project Management, The connection between clients and colleagues.

Please join us for a presentation from Amber Dixon, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager | Certified in Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace | Certified in Inclusive and Ethical Leadership.

This presentation will focus on ways PMs can infuse DEI practices in the work they deliver to their clients and the way they engage with coworkers. Participants will learn the importance of diverse project teams, inclusive resources/materials development to inform equitable outcomes. Participants will also lean various strategies to foster an inclusive workplace. 

Amber is a ten-year veteran with ICF. She recently completed a certificate program in Inclusive and Ethical Leadership from the University of South Florida, Muma College of Business. She also holds a certification to lead DEI in the Workplace from the same institution.

Amber has been a D&I champion, leveraging her tenure, experience, and education to create an inaugural annual DEI goal for five LOBs in ICF’s NextGov Division. She has since led multiple small group discussions to educate our colleagues on DEI. In addition, she is a sought-after mentor.
