Glenn is a project manager and consultant. He has worked with over 30 state and local Puget Sound area agencies and private sector clients since 1979. As a state employee, Glenn retired with 20 years of service having worked for the state courts, the State Patrol, DIS (WaTech), the Department of Health, and OFM. He was a partner with Sierra Systems for five years and has had his own consulting practice, Briskin Consulting LLC, since 1995. His consulting practice includes project management, consulting and mentoring, and independent quality assurance. Glenn got involved with PMI in the mid-90s and got his PMP right before PMI changed the test to use the fat version 3 of the PMBOK instead of the skinny version 2. Glenn continues to consult part-time and still finds his PMP certification and all versions of the PMBOK invaluable to establishing a common framework for and high level of commitment to good project management with his clients. Glenn has a BBA in Finance, and an MA in Management. He is an Air Force veteran. He lives in Birch Bay, WA with his wife and near their grandkids. When he’s not paddling on the bay, he volunteers at the Blaine Senior Center as their Technology Concierge helping members make better use of their smartphones, tablets, and laptops. |
