Speaker: Linda Tilson Presentation: A New Way of Networking From A Place of Giving In this interactive class we will explore how to flip the traditional networking model from getting to giving. We begin by discussing the definition of what appreciative inquiry is, what its characteristics are, and how it can be applied universally to create a psychologically safe space where people are free to express what could be. Each participant will be given a prompt question and the group will work in dyads to apply the concepts of active listening and appreciative inquiry to identify potential opportunities for sharing resources. Everyone will experience energizing moments of what it is like to receive valuable resources without having to ask for them to be given.
