PRESENTATION: Proactive Organizational Change Management
Speaker Bio:
Kristi Strup is an experienced Organizational Change Management Consultant, Executive and Operational Leadership Teams Management Analyst and Strategist. She is certificated by Prosci® and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her breadth of capabilities come from her unique career endeavors across many sectors and services. Her experience encompasses 6+ years of service within Washington State Government system leading Change Management, Strategy, Executive and Operational Leadership Teams, Business Transformation and Culture efforts; 6+ years leading Strategy, Prevention and Programs in County and Contracts systems for City, State and Federal funds and initiatives; as well as 10 + years within multiple private industries including health, banking, retail and non-profits. Kristi’s recognized talents are in her innate ability to engage efforts both holistically at a high level and tactically, build partnerships with stakeholders, proactively identify risk and mitigate, and guide people and business towards success. In her years she has developed and implemented extensive cross-functionality and community building teams, helping organizations and initiatives thrive.
Kristi considers people our greatest asset, and that people are ultimately the drivers that facilitate outcomes. In her experience, we all want success, it can be the great equalizer and denominator. By investing time and energy in people, we see faster adoption rates and solidify Return on Investments. Kristi also keeps a keen eye for the ability to connect social responsibilities with the why behind efforts, to people, business ventures and the greater good.
Her proven leadership and tailored communication style has propelled executive, operational and project teams forward. She is solution-focused, hosts positive energy and is innovative with problem-solving, is agile in ambiguous and fast-paced environments and collaborative to achieve goals that align with an organization’s mission and vision.
Away from work Kristi enjoys travel, is a new empty nester of 2 college age-children, is learning how to row, working on her dual citizenship in Italy, and enjoys time training her 3 rescue dogs (2 Chihuahua’s and a Belgian Malinois, all very opposite).
Presentation:
Kristi will take us through 4 objectives re: Organizational Change Management.
- Refresher for audience at a high level what OCM is, why we focus on it (AKA benefits to PM’s and projects).
- What leaders need for success.
- We will be exploring workstreams for OCM in a project and they key deliverables / results that come out of each one and how they contribute to the overall success of the project. I will also be talking about tips / unwritten rules that I have from prior project work.
- Everyone grows in KSA’s and all projects are different. Ideas for growing a thriving OCM practice.
