Thank you all for an amazing conference!
Our first joint conference with PMI Willamette Valley and the Oregon Project Management Advisory Board was a success thanks to all our members across chapters who came together to "Navigate New Ground". Our session presenters sought to inspire and equip you with the tools and insights needed to thrive in today’s dynamic professional landscape. The program was designed to focus on the PMI Talent Triangle®, Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen.
If your weren't able to attend this conference we have good news! All conference sessions were recorded and we're making them available to watch on demand. You can still register and get all those PDUs now through February 28, 2025.

Brace yourselves, because we're about to blow…your…minds. Ready? Every person is different. We know, it’s a lot to process. Take a moment to collect yourself with this newfound information. But we're not done, because it turns out that "the calls are coming from inside the house." That's right, inside that brain of yours is a cornucopia of unique factors that make you different from everyone else on this tiny blue rock floating through space. Now that we’re all on the same page, enlightened by this remarkable secret, what will we do? Well, if history is any indication, some people will still try to make everyone act and think the same way, in spite of their differences. If you’re wondering if that works, it doesn’t. It’s a recipe for lower employee engagement, higher turnover, and brilliant people hiding their talents. And yet, it persists. But there is an alternative path you can take. In this talk, we're going to explore something called "neurodiversity." We’ll reveal how celebrating our differences might be the best path to unlocking an organization’s potential and building a thriving work culture. Let’s reimagine work, together. This breakout speaker’s greatest hits: - Show, beyond a doubt, why neurodiversity is the key for spurring agile adoption - Illustrate how different brains adopt WIP limits, and why - Apply the right brains with the right role - Give a simple 3-part framework to build an inclusive workplace. |
